Escalating Abstraction

It has been a busy day. An end-of-term sing-around this morning, last Patchwork Projects class in the afternoon, a session at the hairdressers, a bit of Christmas shopping, some food shopping, and the 50 mile drive home.

We were expecting to be blown down the road by Storm Caroline, but she hasn't  shown up - yet.

Another no-show was today's picture. I suddenly remembered when I was on the way out of John Lewis.  Hence the shot of an escalator, which was abstract enough, but dull. 

I have taken Ingeborg at her word and had a good old free-for-all with it in Photoshop Elements. 

Now on the sofa and not intending to stir till bedtime.
