If you can't beat them...

"Bloody Mary"

By the time I was ready to leave for my afternoon with Kanyl it hadn't really got light, was blowing a hooley and raining hard.  As a result I hadn't "exposed a single electron".  The weather didn't improve during the afternoon so the chances for blips didn't improve.

Just as I was getting ready to come home I spotted his Nepenthes "Bloody Mary" which he bought at one of our recent garden centre visits.  Nepenthes are tropical pitcher plants.  They hybridise easily and cultivars have been developed.  This one has,as you can see red pitchers, hence the name and to give scale the pitcher will be 35 -45 mm long.
