Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Decorating help!

Not only Fiona, but Tatum came over this friday afternoon to help me decorate for Christmas.   I don't get to see Tatum so much now that she is in high school -( and she's 14 and sort of into being a teenager..:-) ) BUT I'm lucky because she LOVES Christmas and traditions and has been doing them here for 14 years so yes, she is a big help with the tree (one of their Dad's kid ornaments is right by Fi''s nose) and also they unwrap the very old (67 yrs)  Mexican creche that we get out every year.   She arranges all the animals, shepards, kings and holy family differently every year which I love....   Then they really wanted to make some of the first roll out xmas cookies so we feel like the season is here! Celebration... and she can do all the rolling thank goodness...  Pizza for dinner, an impressive lesson with sign language T is learning at school and F is picking up,  and  then the after dinner magic show we haven't seen for months and months.   Then even Tatum was too tired to do any more cookies......I might have to finish tomorrow, sore ribs and all,   but right now I'm headed for the bed!   flickr set later... We sure do look festive now.!    I think those traditions are an important part of growing up and being grounded...

Fiona was more into the cookies today.  extras..
