There have always been men of the woods, from Robin to Herne the Hunter. It is a hard life and, in the Winter, it is harder still. But the cold keeps others away and they have the woods for their own realm.

An advent calendar which celebrates the pagan midwinter rather than Christmas. There are druids and human sacrifices.
