Reflected Glory

We were down in the Edinburgh Botanics for a short while late this afternoon, where, as a small part of their Christmas Light Show programme there are several large glitterballs suspended from trees. This one is close enough to the famous Beech hedge to reflect the lights that have been hung to full height along its length (see extra).

We may yet stir ourselves to see the entire show, as recommended by friends, but not until our Christmas preparations are much further advanced.
