Yarn blasting, Jubilee Square

A regular Saturday albeit shorter time in town as I needed to be at a rugby match for 2.00pm. Good job we were not after too much as Town was busy as you would expect with queues for pretty much everything.

It was a beautiful, cold, sunny winter’s day. Very cold watching the referee too. Took a long hot bath and a shower when I got home to feel comfortable. Yet I was wearing several layers and some of the spectators were very lightly clad holding a pint of beer with no gloves on their hands.

Town was colourful what with the lights and the yarn blasting in today’s blip. We noticed it on Thursday. Pretty much every surface, pole, bollard and lamp-stand had a knitted cover on it. It must have taken ages to make and put up.
