St Matthews across the Tay #2

A really cold day, minus 5C at least, and it was 2pm before I decided it wasn't going to get any warmer and went out. (I know this is nothing by the standards of some blippers.)

The low sun was creating some super golden colours, and it also invites contre-jour  shots. Here the sun was hidden behind the tower of St Matthews church.

There are some strange patches of light on the side of the church. I think they must be the sun reflected of the adjacent building.

I have combined 3 exposures into an HDR image, but I hope it's not too far from what you'd see if you shielded the sun with your hand. Best viewed full size, to get a dark background.
