I joined a few others who were going to walk up to Pen-y-Pass, then take the Miners' Track to Llyn Llydaw.  Others were doing more adventurous stuff, but this suited me today.  Then we went to the pub in Beddgelert in order to get a wifi signal for the weather forecast... which was so bad that two people decided to drive home later that evening.  I just moved my car further up the lane, past the steepest bits.

If you look on the skyline, just to the left of those branches, you can see the triangle of Snowdon's summit.
