Smattered Trees

Not much change in the snow levels overnight. The snow that is falling is mainly falling off trees, typically lumpily just as you're passing underneath.

We've quite a few, really quite large, broken/split/torn branches on some of the evergreens so part of today was going around with the pole of the long pruner and knocking snow off where we could, especially off the yews which are looking quite stressed in places.

These beeches are fine though.  It wasn't long after this shot that most of the snow had fallen/melted off.
