Memorial, Langtang

The new Stupa built in memory of those who died in the earthquake. A small part of the massive landslide that buried the village can be seen. The majority of those who lost their lives were villagers but there were also many trekkers and climbers from all nationalities. Very sobering.

Wee Flecky ill in bed - thank heavens for friends and a comfortable guesthouse - so Katie and I did some exploring. Langtang is now a hive of activity with many, many, new guesthouses being built. We also got an espresso!
