Feeding Time

As I walked to meet my life this morning to collect the school, I saw our lovely Wildlife Warden feeding the ducks, gees, swans etc. Stopped for a chat, and suddenly he said ‘there’s the Kingfisher’. Perched on a branch on the other side of the moat, my phone camera was just not good enough! I was excited and disappointed all at the same time. He is leaving us in a couple of weeks ( I am very sad he is going) but he came by my office later and told me he wasn’t leaving until he had taken me on a proper kingfisher watch!
