Darling Harbour

It has been a day of high emotion today. CCN and I left home very, VERY early this morning and made our way into the city. I had to attend the funeral of my wonderful friend Mee-na. It was astonishing that even though I was at the chapel forty minutes before the service was to start we were already being asked to sit outside. The chapel was full. I estimate there were close to a 1000 people in attendance and this is testament to and amazing woman and the number of people who's lives she had touched. I was so pleased that I was able to be there and pay my respects to a loyal and loving friend.

We are spending the night in Sydney as we didn't want to drive down and back in the one day and we decided to stay in a hotel overlooking Darling Harbour. This is the view from our room and this is what we'll be waking up to in the morning. The city was sparkling today and as you can see there were puffy blue clouds and a bright blue sky.
