1145. Swarovski Starfish Brooch

This is the new brooch that my husband bought me after I lost a precious one (see extra) which belonged to my Mom. I coveted this brooch from my late 20’s and although my Mom let me borrow it for my second graduation in 2002....she wouldn’t let me keep it....despite my best efforts! After she passed away it was one of the pieces I took from my Mom’s collection and although it’s not all that valuable in monetary terms...it was priceless to me...

I lost it in the street and I suspect that someone found it and decided to keep it....I hope it’s gone to a caring home as I looked after it as best I could....but the catch wasn’t brilliant so they may lose it as I did!

We found my new one on eBay and it’s in perfect condition and I’m wearing it for the first time today and when I go out for lunch I will no doubt keep checking that it’s still there!
