A Visit To Santa

Our daughter and granddaughter came to visit this afternoon, bringing their two dogs with them. We wanted to introduce their new puppy to our Finlay to make sure they got on, as they will be mixing quite a bit over Christmas. It went well, with them both charging around the garden like mad things, chasing each other. They were both exhausted after half an hour and lay down to rest quickly.

We then went out to Lotherton Hall for lunch and then for Jessica to visit Santa in his grotto. She was really excited and has been nattering about it all afternoon. Whilst the ladies and girls all went to see Santa I grabbed the blip shot of the signpost

We were too late to go in to see the new penguin enclosure but we did do the woodland walk - themed with the twelve days  of Christmas and the the fairy dell.
