Definitely not colourful but.....

I have done a small series of ice patterns over the last few days but nothing to compare with nature's own abstract as it froze on the roof of my wife's car. Taken with a flash and I really couldn't see exactly what I was taking as I was holding the camera way above the car but I knew from what I had seen with my torch that there were wonderful patterns to behold. I only wish I had a tiny portion of this creativity myself. I also know that by morning this first layer of ice formation will be totally obliterated by a thick layer of uniform hoar frost.
