Fiery.....

.....for a hot summer's day, 28C, a tiny Potentilla slowly unfurling.

Bright and cheery with it's brilliant yellow-orange saucer shaped blooms Potentilla is in flower during long hot summer day's into the cooler days of autumn. A native to East Asia and the Himalayas it's no surprise they will tolerate moderately poor soil and prefer to be in full sun.

Thanks to Anni for continuing to host Flower Friday :)

Warm thanks to everyone who've stopped by recently, I very much appreciate your stars, hearts and lovely words left. Life has been hectic and my eyes have been most annoying so there's been very little time on the computer and an absent blipper I've become. As things improve, which they will in time, I'll be back.

Enjoy the weekend as we head into Christmas - Happy weekend :)
