Winter Wonderland

While we were on the bus yesterday, or shortly thereafter it started to snow. When we looked out this morning the world had turned white. Today it rained most of the day so it seems unlikely the snow will last very long.

We walked down to the Lake in the morning and had lunch in the Bar Golfo. Nice lunch and had a chat with one of the staff. The owner was up a ladder most of the time trying to clear snow off the top of the canopy outside the bar.

I did not have water proof shoes with me so my feet got well and truly drenched. The shoes will be drying out on the radiator for the next couple of days!

The scene looks quite Christmassy, but I hope the snow melts before I need to use the car.
