Astonishing Orchid

This thing has been blooming for - literally - months. MONTHS. And as some of its blooms started to finally fade several weeks ago, it was ready with more buds about to open! Just simply amazing.

So today, having been unable to get a decent photo of a squirrel, I am offering up the astonishing orchid for Flower Friday. It is deserving of a spotlight.
