Nutcracker!

Bella and I attended our third annual Nutcracker performance today, and as we were leaving the theatre to go home, her friend Maya shouted from some distance away, "Bella!" 

Maya is a year older and in second grade, and they had not seen each other since school started. The talk of the day was not the Sugar Plum Fairy but Bella's first loose "baby" tooth and Maya's first "permanent" teeth. Passages. We all love to mark them.
