SPG at DOK

Most rock journalism is people who can't write, interviewing people who can't talk, for people who can't read.

The family comes together at Annakut for a get-together. We’re all a bit worse off for the night before. And Claire is phoneless having dropped it somewhere yesterday - although through the magic of technology we know that it has been handed in to the Kinghorn Coop.

Angus and I collect Nick and head to the steel shed at Ocean Terminal. It’s a wonderful relic of a bygone age, but the small crowd is freezing in the uninsulated upstairs space. The gig also harks back to a previous age - Rob Nolan on decks, Rodney Relax on artistic declamation, and Trog on bass, with a reconstituted Sponge tribute band.
