Such a busy day for us today....and unusual for a Sunday too....

We decided to pop into town for a bit this morning after doing a bit of food shopping....we are now in full silly season in the supermarkets so food shopping is a necessary evil at the moment.....managed to get a few things towards our Christmas menu and hopefully the remainder will be done later on in the week.

Town was almost like a Saturday morning and was very busy but we managed to achieve everything we set out to do which included trading in some Nintendo DS Games and some DVD's in CEX...yielding a nice voucher worth about £141!  I also bought a new loaf tin to make our Duck and Chicken Terrine for Christmas Eve so I'll make it this week and then hubby and I will have a nice relaxed Christmas Eve meal.....

My eldest step daughter has just phoned to say that they're getting an adopted puppy on the 29th December...he's a sort  of Jack Russell and he's apparently a bit wild having had no training whatsoever...so puppy training classes start in January!
