*sniff, sniff*

My granddaughter wanted to smell the last of the summer flowers that remain in the garden this fall. The new guinea impatients are one of the hardiest flowers I have ever grown. There are some 15 different types but which ever ones I plant each spring are still going strong right up till the first frost.
They actually don't have much of a scent which is why my granddaughter is sniffing so hard trying to smell them!! What you can't see is her disappointment after not smelling anything and her plucking the flower from it's stem and tossing it over her shoulder!
