Poinsettia.

Tis the season........   No not the festive season the season of desperate and emergency blips.  I seem to have posted little else for days.  We nipped out to the Lodge to do the final tweaks before the Christmas guest arrive.  Most unusually I forgot to take my camera so no chance of blips going, while there or returning.

So I have resorted to our Christmas Poinsettia.  If you decide to buy one choose a shop where they are displayed well away from the door and ensure the plant is totally covered before you leave the building, even if it means taking your own material.  If you don't it will drop all its leaves.  Don't water heavily only when the surface of the compost is dry but mist the leaves regularly to prolong flowers.  Incidentally the red isn't the flower it is the bracts.
