Scotrail at dawn

Hardly were the monopolies abolished before railways and banks appeared: just another way of making money without work.

Kinghorn station, before 7 on Tuesday 19th. I rush home to install my beer heating panel underneath the Warehouse’s water mains - which should fend off freezing until the trace heater arrives.

Then it’s to the airport and off to London. Bizarrely, I attend “Mindfulness orientation” from a glass booth in the BA lounge.

The Gatwick Express, the tube, a short walk. Then off to Southwark to meet Tim and then Dan. A decent curry, a few pints. Very pleasant.
