Foggy morning tree line

The weather forecast has been mentioning fog for the past couple of days, but fortunately, thick fog hasn't come to be. But bit of fog makes for a very atmospheric landscape, so I just had to stop the car to get this view.
I had high hope of more landscapes  during the day on my travels, but it the light went. At least it's the shortest day tomorrow (today was all of 4 seconds longer apparently), so it's lighter days from Friday on!
