Day 74: Lake District

Set off hiking kited out in full waterproofs, layers of jumpers, gloves, hat, scarf...even had my rucksack cover - and therefore it was beautiful sunshine all day without even a suggestion of rain. Was robbed in Grasmere - £7 for parking - unbelievable. Walked to Ambleside from Grasmere via Loughrigg and back again - a good walk interrupted by shopping, or is that good shopping interrupted by a walk. I'm never quite sure. And I don't suppose it matters.
