Day 75: Lake District

Took the van to Buttermere via the Honister Pass. It may never forgive me. Climbed Haystacks (the favourite summit of Wainwright - and also where his ashes were scattered). I particularly loved the part where I scrambled rapidly and gracefully up the sheer side of the mountain. Oh wait, that was someone else. I was the one clinging on with all limbs for dear life, whilst trying to convince my legs that they were not actually made of jelly. Oh well.
