Snow White

Iris unguicularis flowers are appearing again as the weather turns mild.  This white form is not as prolific as the usual pale purple ones but it's been growing in this spot for 20 years so at least it's got staying power.

A productive day, without feeling over-busy.  Jamie produced a special chocolate cake and we produced another large batch of Christmas biscuits together.  I added home-made sausage rolls and mince pies.  The former are excellent but shrinking pastry meant the mince pies over-flowed.  I can assure you they still taste good though :-)  Some more Christmas trimmings in place and curtains re-hung ..... taken down and washed so long ago I cannot remember which year it was!

Some sofa time with Jamie this evening I reckon.
