Take your pick

Like much of the South Island, it's a miserable day here on Banks Peninsula. The cloud is low across the hills, the rain horizontal and all the stock are either stooped against the rain or under the shelter of trees. It's not a great day to be outside.

After heading back to a quick trip to Lincoln I took a diversion up Parkinsons Rd, taking this shot up towards an invisible Mt Bradley and Mt Herbert, their flanks clad with camouflaging cloud and mists. With snow forecasted to 400m, I would not be surprised to see a light dusting around the tops once the weather finally clears.
