HST stopped at signals Castle Cary

On Thursday 11th October the entire West of England mainline was brought to a standstill by a gas leak at Taunton.

This HST on route for Penzance was brought to a halt at Castle Cary station. It is named after XI Ordnance Disposal Regiment, Royal Logistics Corps.

It was raining hard and the passengers were allowed to roam the platform as we waited.
