Starflower pincushion's transience

Trying out the new nifty-fifty with an extension tube. This Scabiosa stellata flower was gathering dust and cobwebs in a dark corner until I accidentally brushed my elbow past it, dislodging some of the seeds and thus discovering this seedhead 'flower'. For Tiny Tuesday with huge thanks to dbifulco/debbi for hosting this month. Getting ready for the second Christmas dinner, the Dutch celebrate two days of Christmas and Boxing Day means another festive meal !
