Curtain Raiser

There was quite a light show going on outside when we got up this morning (somewhat earlier than the 'children' - the novelty of an excited 6am start has worn off a bit over 20 years).

Not a bad Christmas day.  Played games** ranging from the silly to the less so; a walk in the hills; the traditional meal of four-cheese veggie lasangne*; and finishing the day off with a DVD - Hidden Figures - which I highly recommend.

** (For those who want to know) Penguin Trap, Rhino Hero Super Battle, and a classic 4-player Siedler.  The newly opened and punched Great Western Trail will wait until I'm more awake.
