Boxing Day walk

I don't know about you, but for us Boxing Day's always a day for fresh air.  And after last night's wild wind and rain this morning was blue skies and sunshine, so a walk was had! 

These lichens were growing mainly on elder and ash along the railway embankment.  There were a lot of them, full of colour and texture.  There were also a lot of owners out with their dogs, kids, new bikes and all.

The afternoon was spent rather more gently and now I have to go cook broccoli and stilton soup.
