Common Square Decorations....

Today is a lovely, blue sky day, cool enough for shorts, but long pants aren't necessary.  Everyone is getting out this afternoon, after a lethargic and slow start to the day.  Many of the Christmas decorations are down now, but more of the generic stuff is still up for the New Years Celebration.  All of the wreaths that were up have been left up.  They are still still fresh and smell wonderful as you walk under them.
The first extra is over by the Education Dept.  Anyone who wants to further learning anything.....  languages, math, history, art, painting, Literature, can sign up for a class through the Mastering Possibilities at the Education Dept.  One can study horticulture, photography, traveling, just about anything you can think of.  It is for the person who wants to stretch their minds.
The second extra is the tall christmas tree leading to the Common Square.  It is still up and decorated for New Years.     The third extra is a horse statue in front of the tree....   it has been painted and decorated in modern genre, reflecting some of the studies that people enjoy.
The 4th extra is a Bill Board, advertising the visiting musicians and acts that are coming to perform at OTOW...  Frankie Avalon, The Letterman,  and several more that are the 50's and 60's vintage.  They would be considered old fashioned by young people today, but they had talent, beautiful voices, and are still alive today.
The last extra is one of the hundreds of bushes in flower around here.  They are brilliant, vibrant and give the landscape, every where you look, gorgeous color.
