Christmas Day (Take Two)

....was a huge success! It was so lovely to have the family home for the day - fun with the grandchildren, the pleasure of giving and receiving gifts and a traditional Christmas dinner and tea. It felt totally as if it were Christmas Day! Feeling tired but happy!

During the last hour of daylight, we took a short stroll to see the ponies. They seemed pleased to see us, even though we had nothing to give them other than a pat! It was jolly cold though, so we didn't stay long.

And now a quiet evening with Mum and my youngest son before he returns to London in the morning.
