False promises

These clouds blew in this afternoon and did little to drop the temperature which was around 33C.  I would have gone for a swim except I had lunch with some old school friends and we got nattering about things as you do,  mainly elderly parents, and the time got completely away with me. 

By the time I got home it was a more respectable 27C and so the hounds and I did the breakwall walk.  False promises because there was not a drop of rain at all in those clouds.  It is forecast tomorrow so fingers crossed.
