Snowy Imber

We decided to get out and blow away the cobwebs with a walk around Imber and met with Neil's Dad and his dog. Imber is an uninhabited village on the edge of the Salisbury Plain that was taken over by the War Office in 1943 for training purposes during the 2nd world war. It is still used for training now but is open to the public on occasional bank holidays. We didn't have any snow at home with the temperature being 3 degrees C but Imber is on higher ground so was that little bit colder and so they had snow. It was bitterly cold and after a quick walk and looking around the church we headed back home to warm up.
Christmas films, eating and playing filled the rest of the day :-)
