Walking this morning around the wetlands again, hoping to find the spoonbills which we had seen the other, not to be seen.
The wetland walk takes us along side farming land, planted in wheat.  The early morning light was hitting the two silo's that are just over the brow of the hill.  Won't be long before the harvesters will be working and filling the silo's.
Whilst the colour version was OK, today, I preferred the mono version.  I'm trying to use up some extras, and have put a preening shag, a wee common copper butterfly, a pathetic cairn and the shimmering Pacific in extras.
(still 3 extras available, which I may or may not use tomorrow)
