Obliging Ella

OMG, has it ever been hot today, 31°..... well until mid afternoon when a nice wee southerly wind whistled through and dropped the temperatures a bit.

I put the family on the midday flight back to Wellington, and have just heard that it was delayed because a bird got into the cabin and seemed it really wanted to catch a ride to Timaru !!

Snapped this one of Ella before they left this morning, she really is very obliging to her Nana....I wonder for how much longer.  Used natural light from the window.

All the linen washed and dried....but not returned to the beds today.  We have just chilled this afternoon.....watching test cricket, but both games here and in Australia finished early on the 5th day.  A win to our Black Caps against Sri Lanka, good job boys.
