Birds of a Feather

These two birds could not be more different but they both hover near  the bird feeder on these bleak, winter days. The little dunnock is usually timidly twitching its way along the ground but this winter it boldly goes straight to the feeder, while the fat pigeon, almost submerged in snow, waits patiently for any dropped seeds scattered in the feeding frenzy.
(I use an online programme called www.befunky.com in the collage-making mode and select 'Create your own' template which allows resizing and flexible positioning of images. Then I save the new creation to my files, where I can crop off any blank areas below the new pictures or at the edges.)
