My New Year's Day emergency blip is the bronze coloured metal reindeer thar stays in the living room all year.

What a day to commence 2018. Rain and more rain, and with yesterday's walk fresh in our minds, we did not venture far from the house. Our planned visit to the Classic Car Show in Greenwich Market was cancelled as we could not bear the thought of getting soaked once again.

All in all a very disappointing beginning to a new year. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day all round, as it's Ian's last day off work and we intend to have a good day out somewhere, come rain or shine.
