A guest from Egypt

TUTANKHAMUN exhibition held in Tokyo.
So I thought of saying hi to this young pharaoh.

Quite incredible to see the jewels he was actually wearing while he was buried for about 4000 years was it?
(Easy to imagine in Tokyo but) the venue was incredibly crowded. Staff were handing out numbered tickets to let people in at only specific times. So I was waiting another hour and a half after purchasing a 3000 yen ($38, £23, ?29) ?ticket. But it was something worth seeing.

Actually Tokyo has been hosting the IMF & World Bank annual meetings without almost any affect (except for security reasons near the main venues) to the public. Transport was same as usual. Very well organized.
Also I would like to point out that the first few days of this event was held in Sendai which is the closest big city (population over a million) to the 3.11 earthquake last year. A good opportunity to show the advantage of Japanese architecture in terms of earth quake resilience, and the quick recovery (compared to other countries) in the earth quake damaged areas.

Hope to relax a bit a work this week if they'll let me do so.
