Slow and inevitable betrayal

Running on 3 hours sleep and caffeine, family Sven escorted Joshua to the station for his train back to boot camp. Mum was understandably tearful since (apart from Gussie) he’s the youngest, but he was on his way before we knew it.

Mum left sharpish to go and make sure the limp and lame don’t set the hospital on fire and a coffee and train later Dad and I were back in Falmouth and I escorted dad to his joyous job. I walked around town for a bit, later in bed and then went to collect two films.

Two blank films, it turns out. What I assumed was my ever faithful Practika MTL 50 didn’t take any pictures from a concert I went to or an unknown film, that I’ll guess I’ll never know. It was understandably upsetting and made no better by the dentists daylight robbery, but hopefully tomorrow will be a new (better) day.
