Holidays

We started the day enjoying the full benefits of a hotel breakfast (marmalade! like Paddington!) then a bit of biking along the prom where we found an excellent playpark.

Next we headed to Arbroath to the Signal Tower Museum which is about the Bell Rock Lighthouse, built by engineer (and far back relative of CyclopsJnr) Robert Stevenson. We also had a look at the harbour and lifeboat station.

We'd identified a play cafe for lunch but it turned out the play area was a creche so off went CyclopsJnr by himself for lunch and playing. He made new friends and told the supervising ladies his life story!

We had a babyccino in the hotel bar, then an hour of swimming.

Dinner was CyclopsJnr's first Indian restaurant. The food was excellent. CyclopsJnr mainly liked the poppadoms and rice and chapati.
