Don't be afraid of darkness . . .

said Marcus in his explanation for this weeks challenge for experimental photography.  I felt the need to get out of my usual habits and do something different and his challenge fits the bill.  I am very proud of these lilies that I grew this year.  The fragrance is heady and I'm putting up with being a little snuffly and having two inside in a vase.  I have taken a well lit photo of them to put in my gardening diary but I also did this shot and have gone to the dark side as Marcus suggested and went down 2 stops on the compensation dial.
