Lali's World

Thursday 4th. Last day off.

Four days off in a row, can't complain! Thursday was particularly rainy. I got up late and I was nowhere in the mood to do anything. Scott and I went to the Boathouse for Lunch. Their chowder is really nice, but this is not the only reason why we went there for lunch. We were there to listen to the Janice Forsyth show on BBC radio four. A few of the local musicians recorded a CD recently in a shop turned into a performing space and recording studio in George St, Cellardyke, hence the name of the CD "The George Street Sessions". It's a great CD, it features some of the musicians that perform regularly either in the Boathouse in Anstruther or The Haven in Cellardyke and sounds great. A few of these musicians were interviewed and/or performed live in the Janice Forsyth show, so this is why a few of us gathered to listen to it in the Boathouse. You could sense a great community spirit.

The weather outside, as you can see, was not particularly inviting so, after a couple of drinks, we just headed back home.

Early bed for me as I was working the next day.

Thanks very much for all your lovely comments, stars and hearts. I hope you all had a nice Thursday! :)
