Dutch Oven

We acquired this Lodge Dutch Oven over the holiday thinking it would be a good thing to use on the top of the wood burner. I found some beef short ribs in Tebay on the way up, which seemed like the perfect test.

With some chopped veg and seasoning and the fire going nicely I left the pot for about 6 hours and the result was a resounding success. Delicious melty falling off the bone beef. Can see we'll have some fun with this.
