Not Entirely Normal

This may not look particularly silly to you, but it always makes me giggle. This one mourning dove has taken to being a feeder bird. It's all rather awkward - s/he's being punched in the chest by the perch under the seed port - but hey, it works! All the rest of her ilk hang out on the ground under the feeders, and the rock benches up in front of the porch where I spread seed. But this enterprising dove has started to use the feeder!

Other than filling feeders, I didn't set foot outside today. And/because the thermometer never got above 20 ℉. With wind making it feel even worse. They say it'll get a bit warmer tomorrow...
