Winter sun, Loch Riddon

Having blipped a view towards the community owned Stronafian Forest yesterday, today we drove over and walked through it, or at least part of it.

It was a very cold morning but with bright sunshine.   The wide view down Loch Riddon was spectacular but so were the close ups of ice and frost .

It was hard to choose between then but the landscape just made it. particularly as it shows not just Bute at the end of the loch, but also just visible are the mountains of Arran.

My extra photo is however one of the puddles by the track.
