Seaside slurry

It was so cold today that the ocean at Duxbury Beach was a thick, salty slurry as the waves broke along the shore. It's something that BB, T & I have never seen along the Massachusetts coastline. My iPhone X was not thrilled with the bitter cold, but managed to catch the creamy thickness of the curling surf as the waves broke slower than usual. Some of the salt water froze instantly before it could flow out again. It was amazing to see, and the seawater colors were unlike any we had seen before. We didn't stay too long, but the visual memories will stay with us, it was an exceptional day along the freezing Atlantic coast.

To warm up, we made our way further south to Wareham and the Lobster Pot for fried lobster for T and  me and fried clams for BB...yummers.

For the Record,
This day came in at -3 F with a windchill of -21. Bright sun and little wind made it bearable and beautiful.

All hands happy to be in a warm house.
